For the moment, Kosovo is
in very difficult energy situation because
of unplanned interruption of
production at KEK. In these moments,
the situation of electricity supply is worse than
last year, when at least one
unit was active in
the power pant "Kosova A"
in KEK and
we were not facing high and extreme temperatures in the region and Europe.
Consequently, the energy available
in the market is limited and very expensive.
...
Currently, in KEK are active only two units
of power plant "Kosova B" with limited
production capacity and changing from hour
to hour, while consumption in
peak hours is somewhere around 750
megawatts. (Production in the country is only 460
to 500 MW)
...
To avoid jeopardizing the entire system,
we are obliged to
perform interruptions of electricity ...
Also, nun haben wir doch das Load-Shedding von Südafrika! Siehe Blog-Eintrag vom 14. Juli.
Und weiter:
At the same time, we kindly ask all
customers that in such extraordinary circumstances, to save electricity,
especially at peak hours, when consumption is very
high and the country's energy capacities
and electricity available are not
sufficient.
Wann sind wohl die "peak hours"? Darf ich nun den Backofen über Mittag nicht mehr benützen?
Wahrscheinlich ist es einfacher, die Reservekanister für den Generator zu füllen :-)
